About GGS
Great Green Sources was founded by me, Kris Ernst. I have been in the nursery and plant business since 1977, when I graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Ornamental Horticulture. My grandfather owned a nursery in Eaton, Ohio, my father owned a nursery and greenhouses in Indiana and Ohio. I managed and then owned a greenhouse nursery business in northern Michigan from 1978 to 1992.
After working for 18 years as a horticultural sales rep, I established Great Green Sources as an independent plant broker. With GGS, I have been able to give my customers the best in select plant vendors, along with the individual service with they have come to expect from the sources I represent.
